WARNING ! THE AUDIO FILES BELOW ARE LOUD , HEADPHONES AND OTHER LISTENING DEVICES SHOULD BE USED WITH CAUTION . ALL PIECES OF AUDIO HAVE HAD SOME DIGITAL ENHANCEMENT .
The audio files below are in categories . There seems to be at least 5 different types of distinct vocalisations and calls . The very fact that multiple calls and vocalisations were collected many kilometre's apart from each other indicates multiple groups and multiple territories .
Type 1 . High pitched calls from what I suspect are smaller hominoids which sound remarkably similar to a Gibbon , a primate from the tropical forests of Southeast Asia . This section also contains a piece of audio that I am told is a territorial display . The territorial display could not be identified by a state zoo indicating that the other calls are also unidentified . I've also included a small video of a Gibbon for comparison .
Type 2 . Intelligent "chimp like" tones recorded in many different places display a variety of emotions from fear and distress to optimism and awe . With these pieces of audio is a recording that sounds like a gorilla charging , growling and contains the same intelligent tones . I suspect these tones are from an intermediate sized hominoid . The "Gorilla type display" could not be identified by a state zoo indicating that the other vocalisations are also unidentified .
Type 3 . Barking type vocalisations appear to be from a large species and were also collected in multiple areas , these calls are clearly not a normal Australian animal .

Type 4 . Hunting . These barking vocalisations are made while hunting possums . Noticeable variations in the vocals between audio files indicate larger and smaller species .
Type 5. Signalling calls , consisting of single or multiple barks followed by a single whistle possibly to get one another's attention .
There are two uncategorised sections which are well worth listening to . The Miscellaneous and Evidence of speech section .
